My inspiration for creating these two soccer-themed art pieces “Focus on the Ball – Top Scorer!” and “Eye on the Ball – Long Ball!” began at home, with the people I love most. Soccer has been part of my life for generations: first with my husband, who played and coached, then with our sons, and now with our grandchildren. Each has carried the passion forward, passing the game from one generation to the next.

From cheering through Euro Cups to celebrating World Cups, soccer has shaped our family rhythm for decades. These paintings grew from that legacy. I wanted to capture more than movement; I wanted to reflect the dedication, emotion, and shared joy the sport has given us. Every brushstroke holds a moment on the field, a memory on the sidelines, and the pride of watching the next generation follow the same path.
